    Description

    This candidate will work onsite at Bay City Engine facility. The company has over 100 different types of tools that they supply to GM Saginaw. This candidate will do a lot of management of tools coming in to the facility and monitoring orders. They will walk around the floor and to the personnel to see if any issues arise with their tools that need attention. Communicating w/ the floor is extremely important. 50% of the time they will be on the floor and 50% of the time they will work in an office setting. Most of this role is managing that the tooling is working properly and it's about 50% reactive, and 50% proactive. They have a launch upcoming so it will be fairly busy for the next 6 months.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    MUST Haves:

    - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, ideally Mechanical

     

    - At least 1 year of previous experience working (Co-Op is ok) in a production/plant environment

     

    - Previous experience with Excel and CAD; manipulating data, NOT designing

     

    - Experience communicating with a customer; good communication skills

     

    - Previous experience problem solving issues

    Nice to Have:

    - Previous tooling experience

     

    - Previous experience working with tooling that goes inside a plant; ideally metal cutting tools

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
