    We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer EIT to join our team. In this role, you will develop engineering drawings and details under the supervision of a Professional Engineer, manage specific portions of broader assignments, and contribute significantly to projects led by experienced engineers. You will utilize standard practices and advanced techniques to perform various engineering tasks, collect and analyze engineering data using both established and evolving methodologies, and execute detailed engineering assignments, including complex calculations and sophisticated tests.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop engineering drawings and details in accordance with company and industry standards.

    + Manage specific portions of broader assignments, contributing significantly to projects.

    + Utilize standard practices and advanced techniques for various engineering tasks.

    + Collect and analyze engineering data using established and evolving methodologies.

    + Execute detailed engineering assignments, including complex calculations and sophisticated tests.

    + Identify and address discrepancies in results, proposing innovative solutions.

    + Innovate and propose new approaches to challenges, seeking management approval for implementation.

    + Conduct comprehensive engineering calculations.

    + Design scalable plans and diagrams with precision.

    + Process shop drawings, revise specifications, prepare RFI responses, and generate charts and schedules.

    + Stay updated on material standards and specifications relevant to design requirements.

    + Oversee and coordinate the preparation of drawings by CADD Technicians.

    + Perform other similar and related work as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in CAD design and engineering design.

    + Experience in engineering documentation and specifications.

    + Basic knowledge and experience using computer-aided design and drafting (AutoCAD & MicroStation) software.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

    + General understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools.

    + Familiarity with computer-assisted design (CAD) and other design, data recording, and analysis software.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent field.

    + 3-5 years of engineering design experience.

    Work Environment

    You will work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes innovation and precision. The role requires proficiency in using computer-aided design and drafting software, as well as Microsoft Office. Collaboration with CADD Technicians and staying updated on industry standards are key components of the work environment.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
