    Job Title: QC Lab Technician

    Job Description

    As a QC Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing various quality control laboratory tests on incoming raw materials using techniques such as FTIR, HPLC, ICP, IR, sensory, and wet chemistry according to United States Pharmacopeia (USP) test methods. You will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality by entering test sample results into the ERP or Quality system and releasing products from Quality Hold. Additionally, you will support general laboratory functions, including cleaning glassware, collecting samples from other departments, and maintaining a clean lab environment. Collaboration with various departments is essential to maintain a steady workflow.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform QC laboratory tests on incoming raw materials using FTIR, HPLC, ICP, IR, sensory, and wet chemistry techniques.

    + Enter test sample results into the ERP or Quality system and release products from Quality Hold.

    + Provide general laboratory support, including cleaning glassware, collecting samples, and maintaining lab cleanliness.

    + Collaborate with various departments to ensure a steady workflow.

    + Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's or Associate's degree in chemistry or related field.

    + 1-2 years of industry experience in Pharma, Cosmetics, Medical Device, or similar sectors.

    + Proficiency in chemistry and laboratory techniques.

    + Experience in quality control and quality assurance.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with HPLC, ICP, and IR techniques.

    + Willingness to show initiative, verified by references.

    + Experience working cross-functionally, verified by references.

    + Attention to detail.

    + Strong communication skills.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is primarily in a lab/office setting with occasional plant sampling in the manufacturing space. The team is a tight-knit group comprising 2 Technicians and a Senior Chemist. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The culture is inclusive, with a focus on strong team collaboration.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
