Job Title: Underground Utility Project Manager
Job Description
As a Underground Utility Project Manager, you will lead and manage multiple construction projects at water/wastewater plants, pump stations, and civil construction sites simultaneously. You will develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project teams, engineers, and project owners. Your role involves coordinating and overseeing project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless execution and adherence to project goals.
Responsibilities
+ Experience in underground utility construction with an emphasis on Sewer Rehab work including: CIPP, Pipe-Bursting, Open-Cut utility installation, etc.
+ Monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance throughout all phases of construction.
+ Proactively identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for engineers and owners, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
+ Work with project managers to prepare and present regular project updates and reports to engineers and owners.
+ Manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocations to optimize project profitability.
+ Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among the project team.
Essential Skills
+ 10+ years of experience in utility construction, project management, construction management, and site development.
+ Experience in civil water treatment construction, including rehabilitation, underground utilities, and water treatment.
+ Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
+ Solid understanding of project management principles, practices, and tools.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
+ Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
+ PMP or equivalent certification (preferred).
+ Experience in commercial construction and engineering.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/hr.
