Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Description
As a Quality Technician, you will be primarily stationed on the production floor, performing quality checks, ensuring adherence to quality processes, and maintaining accurate documentation. Your role will involve minimal lab work, limited to preparing samples for third-party testing. You will be responsible for interpreting and following reference documentation such as specifications and standard operating procedures, while complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP's). Effective verbal and written communication of quality-related information is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Perform quality checks on the production floor.
+ Ensure compliance with quality processes.
+ Maintain accurate documentation.
+ Prepare samples for third-party testing.
+ Interpret and follow specifications and SOPs.
+ Communicate quality-related information effectively.
+ Comply with GMP's and GLP's.
Essential Skills
+ At least 8 months of quality experience (if no degree).
+ Associates degree in the sciences (no experience required).
+ Attention to detail.
+ Basic math skills.
+ Strong communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Interest in entering a manufacturing/quality setting.
+ Desire for upward mobility within the company.
Work Environment
This position is available on the first shift from 7a-3:30pm or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM in a clean, large manufacturing facility. The environment is positive with a strong company culture, where you will walk around several production lines and pull samples. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
