Job Title: Systems EngineerJob Description
We are seeking an experienced engineer to design, integrate, and support industrial automation systems. This role requires leading projects, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the successful delivery of automation solutions.
Responsibilities
+ Design and implement control systems (PLC/DCS) across multiple platforms.
+ Lead automation projects, managing scope, budget, and timelines.
+ Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define requirements and ensure satisfaction.
+ Mentor and guide junior engineers.
+ Support sales with technical expertise and proposals.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years of experience or Associate’s degree with 12+ years of experience.
+ Strong knowledge of PLC/DCS programming, automation design, and electrical schematics.
+ Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
+ Willingness to travel up to 20%.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ P.E. or PMP certification.
+ Experience with PCS7, systems engineering, and Rockwell RSLogix.
+ Medical device integration expertise.
+ Ability to lead projects and act as a subject matter expert.

The work environment includes office settings, plant floors, and build shops. The company offers a great flexible work environment with opportunities for career growth and advancement. A bonus system is paid out quarterly.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $67.31/hr.
