Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer 3Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering, with the ability to design, develop, and implement software solutions in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

+ Design and implement software solutions using C and C++.

+ Conduct software design analysis to ensure optimal performance.

+ Utilize git, debuggers, and compilers to manage and troubleshoot software projects.

+ Develop and execute test suites, including C++ test and G test suites.

+ Design and specify system-level features, ensuring alignment with project goals.

+ Work with datalinks such as CAN and Ethernet to facilitate communication between systems.

+ Collaborate with a diverse team to achieve project milestones.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field.

+ 6-7 years of industry experience or a master's degree with 5 years of experience.

+ Strong coding skills and software design analysis capabilities.

+ Proficiency in git, debuggers, and compilers.

+ Experience with C and C++ test and G test suites.

+ Familiarity with system-level feature design and specification.

+ Knowledge of datalinks such as CAN and Ethernet.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with GStreamer.

+ Understanding of detect sensors.

+ Background in robotics or autonomy.

+ Concise writing style and attention to detail.

+ Ability to work effectively with a diverse team.

+ Strong communication skills are desired.

Work Environment

This position requires working 100% onsite in Building A of the Tech Center. You will be part of a collaborative and innovative team, utilizing cutting-edge technologies in a state-of-the-art facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chillicothe, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
