    Job Title: Front-End Web Software Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a mid-level Front-End Web Software Engineer to join our dynamic team of approximately 15 software developers. This role involves working in smaller teams to support various tasks. You will be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces for a modernized product, transitioning from a desktop application to a web-based application. The environment is agile-like, focusing on design, implementation, and testing, with a primary emphasis on integration. You will be supported by test engineers and technical writers.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and develop user interfaces using Blazor (.NET 6+).

    + Ensure compatibility across browsers and optimize performance.

    + Work with UI/UX designers to transform mockups into functional features.

    + Collaborate with back-end developers to connect APIs.

    + Participate in code reviews and improve development practices.

    + Stay updated on new front-end technologies and propose improvements.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong grasp of C# programming language.

    + Experience developing web applications using .NET 6.0 or later, Blazor web framework (Server and WebAssembly), and ASP.NET.

    + Proficiency in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design.

    + Experience with browser testing and debugging.

    + Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

    + Experience with Docker containers, AWS, and Azure.

    + Familiarity with SQL, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Microsoft Azure DevOps.

    + Eligible for security clearance.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in software development.

    + Experience with Azure Government, CMMI, and modeling and simulation.

    Work Environment

    This position is based onsite in Huntsville, AL, with some remote flexibility available on Thursdays and Fridays. Core working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, with a flexible lunch break between 11 AM and 1 PM. You will receive daily tasks from an engineer and have the opportunity to work from home on select days. Our team has a very low turnover rate, reflecting a stable and supportive work environment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
