Job Title: Study Coordinator
Job Description
This position involves conducting human subject research with participants using various technology products, specifically wearable devices, in an exercise setting. The role includes monitoring participants and collecting data throughout the study session.
Responsibilities
+ Consent participants and take necessary vitals and measurements such as height, weight, and EKG throughout the session.
+ Ensure participants are properly set up with devices and monitoring equipment.
+ Observe participants using devices during various activities according to protocol.
+ Ensure data monitoring is functioning properly throughout the session.
+ Collect data manually and through equipment.
+ Guide participants throughout the study.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor Degree in science, exercise science, kinesiology, biology.
+ Ability to execute test protocols.
+ Technical proficiency to operate test devices and perform data entry.
+ Experience in directing participants through studies, including patient care or people interaction.
+ Familiarity with gym equipment and knowledge of exercise.
+ Ability to stand for an entire shift.
+ Clinical research experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in human subject research.
+ Data analysis skills.
+ Experience as a personal trainer.
Work Environment
The study coordinator will work either a morning shift (7:30 AM - 3:00 PM) or an evening shift (2:00 PM - 9:00 PM), with flexibility to work double shifts if preferred. Lunches are provided. The role requires being on one's feet for extended periods, with some desk work and interaction with participants in a simulated environment. Some study activities may take place outdoors. The dress code is casual, suitable for active participation while maintaining a presentable appearance. Training is typically conducted during the day shift but accommodations can be made for the evening shift if necessary.

This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
