    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform standard testing protocols and procedures, ensuring adherence to company and industry specifications. This role involves conducting performance testing and analysis of membrane products, including evaluating permeability, fouling resistance, and selectivity.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and implement testing protocols and procedures in accordance with industry standards and company specifications.

    + Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment, including filtration systems and analytical instruments.

    + Record, analyze, and interpret test data accurately.

    + Prepare detailed and accurate reports.

    + Collaborate with engineers, chemists, and the R&D team to identify areas for improvement and optimize membrane materials and processes.

    + Troubleshoot testing issues and identify root causes of test discrepancies.

    + Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

    + Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during testing procedures.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in laboratory inspections and performance testing.

    + Strong analytical skills in Chemistry.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to multitask and manage time and priorities effectively.

    + Meticulous attention to detail.

    + Experience with MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

    + Associates Degree in Chemistry required.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with membrane-based technologies (e.g., reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration) is a plus.

    + Hands-on experience with laboratory testing equipment and data analysis tools is beneficial.

    Work Environment

    The position entails working Monday through Friday in 8-hour shifts within a laboratory setting. You will be responsible for supporting the chemist on-site with lab assistant/technician duties. The role offers opportunities for growth, including the possibility of advancing into an Analytical Chemist position.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
