Job Title: Research Associate IIIJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Research Associate III to join our team. This role involves digital integration, auditing, and maintenance of compound registries, as well as contributing to various laboratory tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of analytical data processes.
Responsibilities
+ Perform digital integration related to auditing and maintenance of compound registries.
+ Conduct regular maintenance and auditing of request, registration, analytical data, and inventory applications.
+ Engage in frequent and timely User Acceptance Testing for registration and request applications.
+ Ensure weekly electronic submission and registration of compounds for conjugation and screening.
+ Fulfill laboratory reagent requests based on experience.
+ Maintain and troubleshoot HPLC equipment.
+ Provide ADC conjugation and analytical support.
+ Conduct analytical characterization of purified ADC products.
+ Create and maintain critical laboratory reagents and manage their inventories.
+ Evaluate and build new data efficiencies towards registration and laboratory data processes.
+ Collaborate regularly with team members and demonstrate strong communication skills.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, chemistry, or related field with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, or equivalent degree.
+ Hands-on laboratory experience excluding college coursework.
+ Experience in protein and/or antibody purification and characterization.
+ Proficiency in operating HPLC and/or FPLC.
+ Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
+ Ability to perform routine tasks independently with a commitment to high-quality analysis and meticulous documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with product quality analysis for antibodies and recombinant proteins.
+ Basic experience with Python scripting and strong Excel skills.
+ Experience in antibody-drug conjugate and small compound handling.
+ Experience with automated lab equipment and protocols.
+ Prior experience working with electronic lab notebooks and/or LIMS systems.
+ Willingness to work with potent cytotoxic compounds and follow safety protocols.
Work Environment
The role involves working in a laboratory setting with advanced technologies such as HPLC and FPLC. The candidate will engage in electronic inventory management and digital application migration and documentation. A commitment to safety protocols, especially when handling potent cytotoxic compounds, is essential.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Bothell, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
