Job Summary and Responsibilities

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled Imaging Tech I with expertise in Cardiac Catheterization procedures. The right candidate must have relevant certifications and a strong understanding of cath lab protocols. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential. *Offering $5,000.00 Sign-on Bonus*

+ Perform imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.

+ Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.

+ Operate and maintain imaging equipment while adhering to safety standards and protocols.

+ Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.

+ Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.

+ Maintain inventory and assist in ordering necessary supplies for the department.

+ Capturing high-quality cardiac images

Job Requirements

+ A minimum of two (1) years of experience in a hospital and radiology department is required.

+ High school diploma or equivalent required

+ Must have satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school or a BS or AA degree in Radiologic Technology in an AMA approved school.

+ Cross-training in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography is required.

+ ARRT License (national) required,

+ CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification required.

+ Certification in one modality required.

+ AHA BLS required.

+ AHA ACLS (must obtain within 90 days of start date)

+ Fire Safety card required. (must obtain within 90 days of start date)

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.

Pay Range

$40.50 - $50.42 /hour
