About IOT Government Management Information Systems (GMIS):
GMIS provides technical and application support to more than 180 state operating agencies with 130 distinct financial business units. GMIS supports Enterprise applications including Oracle Hyperion and PeopleSoft HCM modules, Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, Absence Management, and Portal.
Role Overview:
The PeopleSoft Financials Functional Analyst supports the project-costing module for all state agencies. Support includes module rollouts, customer training, system upgrades, issue resolution, and process efficiencies. You will work with agency business owners to roll out and test updates, and to train staff. You will be the subject matter expert for PeopleSoft Financials and accounting processes such as project costing, federal drawdowns, accounts receivable, and contracts.
This role requires:
+ Experience with PeopleSoft Financials.
+ After-hours time for on-call support and periodic system upgrades.
Salary:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $61,022 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

A Day in the Life:
Responsibilities include:
+ Provide techno-functional lifecycle support of PeopleSoft Financials modules.
+ Troubleshoot and support PeopleSoft to resolve end-user problems and questions.
+ Provide direction, and decide upon, configurations, customizations, and changes to the PeopleSoft Project Costing module. This will be done in conjunction with the Business Owners.
+ Oversee the PeopleSoft PUM upgrades. Review sessions to gain understanding of departmental business requirements and to provide knowledge about the functionality of the system.
+ Act as lead liaison between GMIS and State Agencies.
+ Create and maintain complete end-user training materials.
+ Provide module upgrade testing and coordination for the State agencies.
+ Confer with technical and functional GMIS and IOT team members about resolutions.
+ Provide backup support for other PeopleSoft Financials as needed.
+ Utilize helpdesk application to track and respond to user support issues within our service level agreements.
+ Analyze system defects to identify patterns and root causes.

This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours that may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and/or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.
What You'll Need for Success:
+ Mastery of PeopleSoft Financials Modules, Project Costing, Federal Drawdown billing, Accounts Receivables, and Contracts.
+ In-depth experience with module testing methodologies and the PeopleSoft Testing Framework (PTF).
+ Thorough knowledge of State policies relating to financial business processes.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills.
+ Must work well in a team environment.
+ Must manage priorities well in accordance with GMIS policies.
+ Must have good written and verbal communications skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:
This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs.
