SQL Developer / Tier 3 Support

In this role, you will primarily work independently, handling Tier 3 production support tickets by efficiently resolving them within a timely manner. Your responsibilities will include communicating with team members and Tier 2 support desk agents to address reported issues, running queries in SQL Developer to identify and correct bad data, writing SQL scripts to rectify data discrepancies, and examining the functionality of code in PeopleSoft App Designer. Your strong communication skills will be essential in effectively collaborating with team members and support desk agents to ensure seamless resolution of production support tickets. Proficiency in SQL Developer and experience with PeopleSoft Financials will be crucial in carrying out your responsibilities effectively.
Having experience in SQL Developer and PeopleSoft Financials will be beneficial in successfully fulfilling the requirements of this role. Your ability to effectively communicate with team members and support desk agents will play a key role in ensuring the timely resolution of production support tickets. Experience in running queries in SQL Developer, writing SQL scripts, and analyzing code in PeopleSoft App Designer will be valuable in addressing and correcting bad data. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential in identifying and resolving issues efficiently. Overall, your expertise in SQL Developer, PeopleSoft Financials, and strong communication skills will be instrumental in excelling in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Independently handle Tier 3 production support tickets and close them out in a timely manner
- Communicate with team members and Tier 2 support desk agents to address reported issues
- Run queries in SQL Developer to identify and fix bad data
- Write SQL scripts to correct bad data
- Analyze code functionality in PeopleSoft App Designer
Minimum Qualifications
+ US Citizenship
+ HS Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred (ideal areas: Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field) or equivalent relevant experience
+ Must hold an active Secret Clearance.
+ 3-5 years of experience in information technology, systems administration or other IT related field.
+ Good oral and written communications skills.
Other Job Specific Skills
+ PeopleSoft Development experience and SQL experience required.
+ Applies standard methodology, techniques, procedures, and criteria.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic/routine system hardware, software, or networking related problems.
+ Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and to translate technical terminology into terms understandable to non-technical employees.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Experience with Salesforce a plus

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role.
