    Throughout the 9-week paid Schwab Trading Services internship, there will be inspiring opportunities to dive into brokerage, markets and Schwab’s trading experience. The interactive program focuses on a variety of opportunities which feature a business track project, an intern cohort project, learning activities, volunteering in the community, a dedicated intern leader, networking, and exploring your unique personal strengths! In this role, you will learn advance financial literacy and receive training materials to prepare you for (and potentially take) the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam. Our Trading Services interns will also learn about our trading products, platforms, education, and client service. The rest of the time, you’ll be assisting our Product and Platform teams with research, analysis, presentation materials, and other projects. If you are passionate about gaining insight into Schwab’s Trading Solutions this is the role for you.

    What you have

     

    As an intern, it’s not about what you know, it’s about what you are willing to learn. We’re seeking passionate students who are ready to own their Early Talent career and have the courage to ask “why”.

    Required Qualifications

    + Be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program

    + Have enough credit hours to put you at a junior level status at a 4-year college or university

    + Have not already completed your bachelor's degree

    + Able and willing to relocate at your own expense if relocation is needed

    + Ability to work full time and be on-site at one of the Schwab locations during the 9-week program (June 8, 2026 to August 7, 2026)

    + Able to start full time employment during business hours between August 2026 - September 2027

    + Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Data & Analytics or related major

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills with examples of opportunities you had to utilize those to achieve a purpose

    + Strong MSOffice skills particularly PowerPoint and Excel

    + Analytical skills

    + Passion for learning about the Financial Services industry and the stock market
