Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term career development. The ideal candidate will handle key accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable transactions, including processing payments and maintaining accurate records.

• Handle accounts receivable tasks, such as tracking incoming payments and resolving discrepancies.

• Process invoices with precision, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting tools to perform data entry and maintain financial records.

• Collaborate with team members to reconcile accounts and support monthly reporting.

• Prepare financial documentation and reports as needed to support business operations.

• Assist with maintaining compliance with financial regulations and company standards.

• Leverage Microsoft Excel and Word for creating spreadsheets and documentation related to accounting tasks. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

• Strong skills in data entry with a high degree of accuracy.

• Ability to process invoices efficiently and adhere to company procedures.

• Competency in using Microsoft Excel and Word for financial tasks.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

• Prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role is preferred.
