• Network Security Engineer

    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our IT security team. In this role, you’ll design, implement, and manage secure network solutions to protect our systems, applications, and data. You’ll play a key role in threat detection, incident response, and proactive defense against evolving cyber threats.

    Responsibilities

    + Design, configure, and maintain secure enterprise network environments (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS).

    + Monitor and respond to network security events, including incident analysis and remediation.

    + Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify risks and recommend solutions.

    + Manage and configure security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection systems.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security compliance across infrastructure, cloud, and applications.

    + Create and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, policies, and procedures.

    + Stay current with emerging threats, security trends, and industry best practices.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    + 5+ years of hands-on experience in network security engineering.

    + Strong expertise with firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, etc.), VPN technologies, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools.

    + Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

    + Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching protocols.

    + Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).

    + Relevant certifications a plus: CISSP, CCNP Security, CEH, or Security+.
