Description We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Santa Rosa, California. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process, from case preparation to trial execution. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute to complex legal matters in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough legal research and draft memorandums using platforms such as Lexis and Westlaw.

• Manage evidence collection and document production for cases, including coordinating efforts with clients, opposing counsel, and IT teams.

• Prepare detailed chronologies of evidence and facts to support legal claims and defenses.

• Assist attorneys with drafting pleadings, motions, declarations, and other legal documents.

• Review discovery responses and prepare initial drafts of meet-and-confer letters.

• Organize deposition materials, including outlines, exhibits, and transcript summaries.

• Support pre-trial preparation by compiling evidence, creating witness lists, and assembling trial binders.

• Coordinate witness appearances, expert consultations, and document exchanges for expert reports and depositions.

• Provide assistance during trial, including jury selection and motions in limine.

• Manage litigation calendars for attorneys using Compulaw, ensuring deadlines are met for state, federal, and appellate courts. Requirements • Proven experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in civil litigation.

• Proficiency in legal research tools, including Lexis and Westlaw.

• Strong knowledge of discovery processes and trial preparation.

• Familiarity with case management software and calendaring systems such as Compulaw.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and external parties.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong understanding of legal billing processes and terminology.
