Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

+ Oversee day-to-day accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll, cash management, bank reconciliations, and month-end close support

+ Manage billing and collections, including AIA construction billing

+ Support the CFO with financial analysis, accruals, journal entries, and process improvements

+ Supervise and provide coverage for AP/AR staff

+ Partner with project managers to improve job-costing accuracy and billing timeliness

+ Ensure compliance with tax filings, benefits reconciliations, and annual 1099s

+ Provide administrative oversight for office functions, onboarding/offboarding, and technology coordination

Desired Background

+ 3–5+ years of construction accounting experience (AIA billing required) or out of public accounting

+ Hands-on experience across AP, AR, payroll, and general accounting functions

+ Strong Excel skills; systems savvy

+ Supervisory or review-level experience strongly preferred
