Description We are looking for a highly skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Tampa, Florida. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles to manage various financial tasks, including payroll, reconciliations, and benefits administration. Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain up-to-date financial records.

• Process payroll, including calculating taxes and managing benefits for employees.

• Handle onboarding of new team members and ensure compliance with payroll-related documentation.

• Provide backup support for billing functions and ensure proper handling of invoices.

• Manage multiple funding streams from federal, state, and local sources with precision.

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using QuickBooks and other relevant tools.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations of financial systems and reporting.

• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial data to maintain compliance.

• Assist with timekeeping systems and provide support for internal processes as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting (consideration given to candidates with 2 years of experience if they have relevant organizational background).

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Experience with bank reconciliations and credit card transaction management.

• Familiarity with payroll processing, including taxes and benefits administration.

• Ability to manage billing functions and ensure accuracy in invoicing.

• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to handle multiple funding sources and maintain compliance.
