    CiTi BOCES (Mexico, NY)


    CiTi BOCES is seeking full- time instructional coaches to support the Science of Reading. These individuals will work collaboratively with the Staff Development Specialist and the Director of Instructional Support Services to support component districts and CiTi programs.

    Duties and Responsibilities Include:

    + Provide support in the field in the areas of instructional coaching , professional development, data collection and analysis, and program evaluation.

    + Be responsive to the needs of the component districts and their educators.

    + Collaborate with all stakeholders, within CiTi and its component districts.

    + Work with component districts and CiTi programs to determine instructional and curricular needs.

    + Integrate research based/best practices into professional development.

    + Additional duties related to the Science of Reading as determined by CiTi and its component districts.

    Job Qualifications

    + New York State Teacher Certification

    + Literacy certification preferred

    + Five years’ experience in classroom teaching

    + Demonstrates proficiency in good communication skills, effective instruction, and organization and management skills, effective use of technology to support communication, presentations and instruction.

     

    Salary based on experience relative to the position.
