    Duties & Responsibilities: (Essential Functions of Position, Major Responsibilities, Summary of Key Duties, Special Assignments, Relationships)

     

    + Bookkeeping/Accounting: Use of Business Plus

    + Maintain Infinite Campus system for the purpose of student management - Register students, update records, manage In-Touch and Business Plus.

    + Maintain Cumulative Folders on Infinite Campus and use of Docushare scanning process.

    + Request school records for incoming students and process out records for students leaving.

    + Maintain all building personnel attendance records.

    + Use of AESOP for substitute teachers and teacher attendance

    + Responsible for staff (non-classified) payroll information and processing.

    + Order all building supplies, curriculum materials, and catalog orders.

    + Submit and process building C forms, receivers, invoices, and direct payments for the building.

    + Answer phone and accurately record and give messages and or use voice mail.

    + Submit work orders for repairs for any office machines and equipment.

    + Supervise office para-educator staff.

    + Utilize PC computer to create documents for building, parent letters and staff (word processing and Excel programs).

    + Assist the nurse as needed including dispensing medications.

    + Maintain a calm, welcoming, professional office environment.

    + Maintain confidentiality in all situations with working with students, staff and parents.

    + Help attendance team with absences and tardies.

    + Help secure subs for staff using AESOP.

    + Manage Xerox and Destiny textbook Management System

    + Other duties as assigned by principal

    Physical Requirements of Position:

    + Ability to routinely lift/carry office supplies and printed materials weighing up to 25 lbs - occasionally lifting 50 pounds

    + Ability to hear and understand speech at normal levels in person and/or on the telephone.

    + Ability to communicate so others will be able to clearly understand a normal conversation in person and/or on the telephone

    + Ability to operate computer, calculator, copy machine, telephone, and other office equipment with dexterity and in a safe and efficient manner.

     

    Special Qualification Desired: (Personal Qualities, Education, Skills Needed, Experience, Etc.)

     

    + Must have High School diploma or GED equivalency.

    + Must have a positive, customer friendly attitude at all times.

    + Skilled in use of IC, IFAS, AESOP, and Microsoft Office including IFAS, Business Plus, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    + Experience with diverse populations.

    + Attentive to detail and accuracy; good organizational and communication skills.

    + Ability to work under pressure, establish priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining a calm demeanor during stressful situations.

    + Ability to take initiative in identifying tasks to be accomplished.

    + Become knowledgeable of the Full Service Community Schools model and be the front line of assistance for parents.

    + Have training or become trained in dispensing medication, first aid, and CPR.

    + Must have excellent attendance to be successful in this position.
