    The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

    Job Overview:

    Qualification

     

    Performs all patient related administrative and clerical duties necessary to assist the heath care team to provide patient care. Acts as a liaison between patients and the clinical team. Involves direct patient interaction as well as effective communication and coordination with other healthcare providers and departments.

    Required:

    + High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

    + Must have prior healthcare experience

    + Proficiency in clinical information systems (e.g. Epic)

    + Strong communication and organizational skills.

    Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):

    + Full-Time

    + Day

    + 37.5 Hour Work Week

    Essential Functions:

    + Checks patients in and out of the center in a courteous and professional manner

    + Daily telephone management (incoming calls, return calls to patient, voice mail, appointment confirmation calls,etc.)

    + Scheduling and managing appointments including acting as a liaison between the practice, providers, and hospital departments who refer patients to the Pain Center

    + Ensures and maintains adequate inventory of office supplies, medical supplies, and equipment

    + Management of mailings such as referral and pre-appointment information

    + Assist with pre-authorizations and billing for procedures, radiology, and medications where appropriate.

    + Assist clinical staff with patient communications regarding pharmacy, medical supplies and medical inquiries

    + Manages policies and procedures for the practice.
