CAD / Revit Technician

This is a full-time, temporary position through the end of 2025, with the possibility of extension into the new year. The position includes medical, health, and vision benefits, 401K + match, and sick time.

What You-ll Do:

As a Revit Technician, you-ll play a critical role in transforming point cloud data into high-quality Revit models and as built documents.

Your work will involve:

+ Converting point cloud survey data into accurate existing condition drawings and 3D models in Revit.

+ Documenting key building systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing.

+ Preparing and quality-checking Revit models, drawings, and deliverables.

+ Collaborating with project teams to ensure consistent application of BIM standards and workflows.

+ Preparing clear reports, drawing documentation, and digital project files.

+ Maintaining accuracy, precision, and attention to detail in all deliverables.

+ Supporting other production-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ 4-year degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

+ 2+ years of experience creating building drawings and construction layouts using Revit (AutoCAD experience a plus).

+ Knowledge of point cloud data workflows (Recap, Cyclone, or similar software).

+ Strong knowledge of commercial building design standards, methods, and materials.

+ Knowledge of ADA standards is preferred.

+ Highly proficient with computers, cloud storage systems, Microsoft Office applications, and video conferencing tools.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines independently in a remote environment.

+ Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality production work without direct oversight.

Work Conditions:

+ Ability to commute and work 3x per week in our Downers Grove, IL office.

+ Hybrid (office/remote).

+ Requires reliability and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

+ Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.

Pay & Benefits:

The anticipated compensation range for the position is $24 - $29/hr, is based on a full-time schedule, market and business conditions, and is commensurate on individual education, qualifications, and experience. This is a contract-to-hire position with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, flexible paid time off, paid holidays, sick time, and a matching 401K plan.
