    Elementary School Nurse

     

    As a school **nurse at Chestnut Hill Academy at Bright Horizons** , you are always ready take action in the event of an illness or accident. You are a trusted resource who educates and reassures families and staff about health and safety topics. The work you do is vital and makes a difference in the lives of the children, families, and your staff.

     

    We are hiring year round, full time, working 7:30-4:30 Monday - Friday.

    Responsibilities:

    + Maintain accurate records of parent/guardian signatures for medication distribution.

    + Ensure student immunization records are in compliance and that required forms and documentation are completed.

    + Act as primary contact to administer health care in the event of any illness/accident resulting in an injury at the center.

    Qualifications:

    Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:

    + At least 18 years of age with a high school degree or GED required

    + Credentialed Nurse RN or BSN required

    + Bachelor of Science RN certification required

    + Certification in First Aid and CPR required

    Physical Requirements:

    This position requires the employee to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons’, and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. If hired, you will work in person in an elementary school to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery and services per Bright Horizons’ policies, procedures and guidance, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations, and in a manner that will ensure the safety of children in Bright Horizons care and the employee.

    Compensation:

    The hourly rate of pay for this position is between $82,000 - $103,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Chestnut Hill Academy at Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

    Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements and accrual schedules, new employees in this role receive up to: 9 paid holidays annually; 40 hours of sick time per year based on full-time schedule, and 64 hours of vacation time per year based on full-time schedule (vacation time may be used for sick leave purposes under any applicable state or local sick or safe time law).

     

    Compensation: $82,000 - $103,000 / annually
