    About this role:

    Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Corporate Development Analyst to support the team responsible for coordinating M&A activity on behalf of the firm.

    In this role, you will:

    + Play a key role of driving forward acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, strategic investments and complex projects across the entire company through strategic financial analysis and organization of large cross-matrixed project teams that support key Corporate Development projects/deals.

    + Develop, prepare and interpret financial statements and valuation methodologies, that take into account bank specific financial metrics. While doing this you will be able to exercise independent judgment to organize and take an active role in managing the evaluation and presentation to key leaders across the company.

    + Review, research and analyze industries and businesses that are being contemplated to acquire, invest in, or divest.

    + Work in a flat organization structure that allows for collaboration and significant responsibility on key projects.

    + Develop thorough understanding of entire company and gain exposure to senior line of business and functional leaders.

    Required Qualifications, US:

    + 4+ years of Investment Banking, Capital Markets, or Corporate Development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

    Desired Qualifications:

    + A BS/BA degree or higher

    + Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment

    + Ability to influence and build high-impact relationships across all organizational levels

    + Knowledge and understanding of financial concepts and valuation methodologies

    + Ability to create simple, powerful, and data-driven communications for senior leaders

    + Strong technical/computer skills to maintain various models, and handle multiple ad hoc requests

    + 3+ years of experience working in a combination of financial services, financial analysis and mergers and acquisitions

    + Experience in applying in-depth understanding of financial concepts and theories to practical business problems

    + Demonstrated experience of working with large groups and being solution-oriented

    + Experience in working on complex issues

    Job Expectations:

    + Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
