Position Description:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting with the daily operations related to Inventory Control, Production, and Shipping and Receiving. This role ensures that all inventory processes, such as receiving, storing, processing, tracking, and shipping, are conducted efficiently and according to company procedures. The Warehouse Associate coordinates with various functions to maintain optimal efficiency and ensures that discrepancies are promptly addressed.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Put away incoming inventory accurately and efficiently to ensure work areas are clean and clear of congestion or safety hazards.
+ Pick, allocate, and prepare sales orders, ensuring accuracy and correct sequence as directed by the Production Planner.
+ Assist in maintaining inventory print stations and equipment.
+ Ensures proper receiving, storage, and documentation of incoming materials and parts.
+ Assist with Production activities including labeling, coding, packaging, and other responsibilities as assigned.
+ Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts by performing cycle counts of locations and parts.
+ Maintain a safe work environment by working safely, following current Warehouse safety rules, maintaining equipment, and maintaining a clean work area.
+ Must have a “can-do” attitude with a sense of urgency and dedication to the success of the overall business mission.
+ Assist in receiving incoming shipments from vendors and inputting information into our ERP/MRP system
+ Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:
+ High school diploma or G.E.D. (Associates degree preferred)
+ Customer service experience
+ 5+ years of experience in an operations lead position
+ Experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
Reports To: Operations Manager
Physical Job Requirements:
+ Sitting: Must be able to sit for a minimum of 4 hours
+ Walking: Throughout the facility continuously
+ Lifting/Carrying: Must be able to lift 62 lbs.
+ Climbing: Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
+ Vision: Corrected 20/20 vision required
+ Talking/Hearing: Must be able to communicate on the telephone
Environment:
Warehouse environment, occasionally hot or cold temperatures, moderate noise level, occasional dust, chemical odors
