Director Creative Marketing

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a multi-disciplined creative leader who is responsible for bringing creative vision to life through tangible assets in photography, video, CGI, print and digital design. As part of this responsibility, this person would be required to inspire and foster a culture of high-performing creative talent and design a long-term organizational structure and office environment that will drive the team's success, while overseeing a team of functional leaders, each with their own expertise. This person would be accountable for ensuring their teams deliver best-in-class, brand-aligned creative that drives business impact across channels in a sustainable and scalable way.

Duties and Responsibilities

+ Translate brand strategy and creative vision into tangible assets at scale

+ Serve as a connective tissue between executional craft and strategic brand vision, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and excellence across disciplines.

+ Lead, coach, and support the functional leaders of each creative discipline, helping them grow as strategic leaders, team builders and culture ambassadors.

+ Inspire and foster a culture of high-performing creative talent, and design a long-term organizational structure and office environment that will drive the team's success,

+ Foster innovation, set high standards, and drive operational rigor so each discipline can thrive individually and in collaboration.

+ Collaborative partner to your team, your peers, and the broader brand organization.

+ Ensure all creative work adheres to brand guidelines andquality standards, evolving those standards as needed in partnership with key stakeholders to reflect the brand’s growth and maturity.

+ Represent the creative production function in executive forumsand high-level strategic planning sessions, influencingdecisions by articulating the business value of creativestorytelling.

+ Lead through change by clearly communicating vision,aligning teams, and fostering resilience during periods oftransformation.

+ Partner with the Creative Operations Leader to overseeshared systems, tools, and workflows that support efficiency and cross-functional alignment.

+ Identify and remove structural or systemic barriers that hinder creative teams from delivering their best work.

Job Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, Communications, or related field

+ 10+ years of experience in creative across multiple disciplines (e.g., video, photography, CGI, print, digital).

+ 5+ years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams

+ Proven experience translating brand strategy into scalable creative execution.

+ Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with complex stakeholder landscapes.

+ Ability to manage, prioritize and execute concurrent projects with varying deadlines.

+ Fast learner, highly motivated, self-starter

+ Excellent listener

+ Strong communication skills and executive presence

+ Deep understanding of creative production workflows, tools, and technologies across disciplines.

+ Strong portfolio or track record of delivering high-impact creative work across channels.
