    The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for a FIRST LEGO League Advisorat Canal View Elementary School. Description: The FIRST LEGO League introduces younger students to real-world engineering challenges by building Lego-based robots to complete tasks on a thematic playing surface. Students will have the opportunity to design, build, test and program robots using Lego Mindstorms technology, apply real-world math and science concepts, research challenges facing today's scientists, learn critical thinking, team-building and presentation skills and participate in tournaments and celebrations. Required Credentials: Knowledge of FIRST LEGO League Program (Seehttps://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/fll)Preferred Credentials: Current Spencerport Teacher, per Article 32 of STA contract; non-unit members may apply and be appointed if there is no teacher interest. Work Year: 2025-26 school yearSalary: Stipend starting at $600, based on previous experience, pending negotiations.
