    Job Description:

    This job is responsible for analyzing the day-to-day issues, researching, and providing resolution for various issues identified within a business unit. Key responsibilities include supporting defined procedures, routine analytics, and creating reports and completing exception processing.

    LOB Job Description:

    •The Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the cashier’s check process for Corporate and Commercial requests received from Treasury Fulfillment and Services which includes the printing or approving of a large volume of Cashier’s Checks daily while ensuring dual controls are met.

     

    Responsibilities for completing an end-to-end print and mail process in accordance to the instructions received. Supporting workflow coordination, procedure review and testing, record storage management, support dual custody routines and system testing as required. Perform ongoing review of existing processes to identify gaps, areas of risk and potential improvements. Ensure actions are implemented to sufficiently manage risk and monitor controls.

     

    The candidate is the first point of contact for inquiries from business partners via email or phone channel. Responsible for analyzing and/or determining the appropriate handling and resolution of requests/inquiries. The candidate will limit risk exposure through consistent review of testing, observation and adherence to departmental procedures/protocols.

     

    Other responsibilities include assigning incoming work, assisting with audit reviews, maintaining service level agreements (SLA’s), gathering statistical information and producing monthly reports. Conduct simple/complex research and provide timely responses to inquiries by utilizing the various bank systems to support client requests.

     

    The candidate must actively support a team environment and quickly shift priorities while focusing on the needs of our customers while maintaining an organized approach to managing daily activities and simultaneously handling multiple demands to achieve optimal efficiency and productivity. The candidate should be able to work quickly without sacrificing quality and should also demonstrate the ability to build effective relationships with business partners and clients. Provides guidance to associates within own unit regarding procedural, technical and/or operational changes. Incumbents should have a full working knowledge of operations acquired through experience in an operations environment and on the job training. Individuals typically have 1-2 years of experience.

    **Required Qualifications:** ​

    + Must be able to work in office 5 days a week. Hybrid schedule is not an option.

    + Must have 1-2 years of experience in banking and/or treasury management services

    + Intermediate proficiency (1-3 years of experience) in written (including grammar and spelling) and verbal communications.

    + PC proficiency - experience with all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

    + Ability to identify and manager risk effectively and efficiently.

    + Must be self-motivated; able to work unsupervised.

    + Possesses strong time management and task prioritization skills with the ability to manage their own time and tasks

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Previous Cashiers Check experience.

    + Mainframe, GSS experience
