• Data Center Technician

    TEKsystems (Ellendale, ND)


    Join a high-impact, rapid response team supporting the deployment of a new data center facility. This is a hands-on technical role requiring advanced troubleshooting, hardware expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll be part of a specialized team responsible for building and maintaining critical infrastructure powering cutting-edge technologies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Maintain data center operations to ensure uptime and reliability

    + Diagnose and repair hardware and network issues

    + Conduct root cause analysis of failures

    + Assemble, install, and maintain server and networking equipment

    + Develop scripts for hardware updates (Python, Bash, etc.)

    + Maintain inventory and documentation

    + Provide technical support and training to internal teams

    + Participate in occasional travel to other data center sites as needed

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    + 3+ years of data center experience

    + Strong computer hardware troubleshooting and repair skills

    + Networking experience (Cisco IOS, Juniper JunOS)

    + Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar)

    + Linux OS proficiency

    + Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in IT

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated locations

    + Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support

    + Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
