    The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for the full-time Program Manager for Advanced and Emerging Technology in the Office of Technical Education Initiatives. Reporting to the Director for Advanced and Emerging Technology, the Program Manager will provide critical support in the development, implementation, and coordination of initiatives that strengthen Georgia’s workforce in advanced and emerging technologies. This includes direct involvement with TCSG's advanced manufacturing initiatives, primarily the SMART Packaging Consortium. The Program Manager will also assist in the creation of curriculum and training programs in areas such as clean room procedures, advanced manufacturing, and semiconductor-related technologies to ensure alignment with workforce demands across Georgia’s 22 technical colleges.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Along with the Executive Director of Research & Business Intelligence and the Director of Advanced and Emerging Technology, serve as the primary liaison to advance TCSG’s role within the SMART Packaging Consortium.

    • Support the Director of Advanced and Emerging Technology in designing, developing, and implementing curricula aligned with industry needs and workforce priorities.

    • Collaborate with K-12 partners, higher education institutions, and industry leaders to expand career awareness programs and strengthen the STEM pipeline into technical college programs.

    • Contribute to the development of clean room training curriculum and other specialized workforce training initiatives for both instructors and students.

    • Coordinate logistics for program implementation, including meetings, workshops, and training sessions with faculty, industry, and educational partners.

    • Monitor and track grant deliverables, outcomes, and compliance for assigned projects.

    • Support articulation agreements, curriculum revisions, and approvals related to advanced and emerging technology programs.

    • Conduct research on emerging industry trends and educational innovations to inform curriculum and program development.

    • Assist in the identification and development of lab and facility spaces needed to support hands-on instruction in advanced and emerging technologies.

    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with faculty, administrators, industry representatives, and K-12 partners.

    • Ensure compliance with state and federal policies, as well as TCSG Board policies, in all program activities.

    • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of advanced and emerging technology initiatives.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor’s degree in: Engineering, Technology, Education, Business or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in program/project management, workforce development or education.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master’s degree in: Engineering, Technology, Education, Business or a related field.

    • Experience in grant management and program coordination (especially STEM-related initiatives).

    • Experience in curriculum development, training, or workforce education.

    • Familiarity with clean room operations, advanced manufacturing, or semiconductor-related industries.

    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with K-12 schools, industry partners, and higher education institutions.

    TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

    • Strong organizational, project management, and program evaluation skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects, grants, and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.

    • Knowledge of emerging technologies in fields such as advanced manufacturing, AI, AR/VR, and packaging technologies.

    • Effective oral and written communication skills.

    • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.

    • Skills in data tracking, analysis, and reporting.

    • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
