Systems Administrator – Operations Focus

Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join a team focused on maintaining and improving core infrastructure. This role emphasizes operational excellence, system reliability, and proactive issue resolution across servers, networks, and operating systems.

What You’ll Do:

+ Install and upgrade software releases, apply patches, and troubleshoot software-related issues.

+ Perform regular system backups and recovery procedures.

+ Monitor system configurations to ensure data integrity and performance.

+ Maintain documentation for system configurations, backup processes, and change procedures.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Key Projects:

+ Support ongoing operational workload.

+ Help establish and refine change management processes.

Daily Responsibilities:

+ Manage and respond to support tickets.

+ Monitor systems to ensure uptime and performance.

+ Maintain operational workflows and documentation.

+ Ensure smooth and stable operations across environments.

Required Technical Skills:

+ VMware (backend administration)

+ Cisco UCS

+ Windows Systems Administration

+ Active Directory

+ Virtual Infrastructure

+ Server Administration

+ Monitoring and Recovery

+ Disaster Recovery Planning

Preferred Skills:

+ Experience with PowerShell, Zerto, VMware NSX

+ Knowledge of CiS Admin technologies

+ Windows Admin experience

Soft Skills:

+ Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

+ Comfortable navigating change management processes.

+ Strong communicator and team collaborator.

Requirements:

+ Must be a self-starter and comfortable with change management.

+ Must pass a background check.

+ Must be able to communicate effectively with the team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $51.00 - $74.00/hr.
