    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Marketing Coordinator plays an integral role in promoting arena events. The successful candidate should be well-organized and an effective communicator who takes initiative in owning tasks and open to collaboration. The role focuses heavily on supporting digital assets, including social media, email marketing, WordPress website updates, and managing venue-owned assets such as marquees and ribbon boards. In addition, this position will be responsible for communications with the venue’s members and partners and assist with administrative duties as assigned.

     

    + Assist Marketing Manager in show cycle support, coordinating ad buys with media reps, and communications.

    + Coordinate all social media channel content and promotions, including event announcements / pre-sales / on sale, contests, sweepstakes, show photos, venue branding, and partner promotion

    + Manage 400,000 plus email marketing database by distributing targeted presale, on sale, newsletters, and survey emails

    + Update the venue’s online assets, including WordPress website and venue-owned assets, including marquees, ribbon boards, and concourse flatscreen TVs

    + Manage flyer creation and distribution for promotional purposes

    + Assist with the coordination and implementation of promotional initiatives that are planned inside the arena and in the local marketplace

    + Support paid media traffic for media buys

    + Draft contracts for house photographers, graphic designers, and partners

    + Manage event checklists and develop promotions calendar

    + Track social media and email marketing analytics to report monthly

    + Support the membership program by gathering ticket requests for fulfillment

    + Meet and escort media at concerts.

    + Assist in the coordination of artist/promoter gift

    + Manage venue photos and video libraries

    + Duties are subject to change in accordance with Manager and Tour needs

    SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST:

    + Be passionate about success, teamwork, and the live entertainment industry

    + Open to being on camera, curating fun and creative social media content, and following trends

    + Have a great work ethic, collaborative communication, and positive attitude

    + Excellent time management and organization skills

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    + Four-year college degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, OR related career experience

    + Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a marketing role through work or internship. Interest or experience in sports or entertainment marketing is a plus

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    + Creative thinking, strong initiative, and verbal presentation skills

    + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    + Excellent writing and communication skills

    + Self-starter, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

    + Proficient in computer applications such as WordPress, Windows Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator/Photoshop, Activity Stream, and CRM tools

    + Proficient in social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube

    COMPENSATION

    Competitive salary range between $45-55K, a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401k plan .

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    + Ability to work irregular hours as needed for event days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
