**VCA Arroyo Grande Animal Hospital** is looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and hardworking **Veterinary Assistant** to join our team!

About Us:

We are a busy, fast-paced 5 doctor practice that prides itself on excellent patient care and outstanding client service. Our team works together to create a supportive and positive work environment.

Responsibilities include:

+ Assisting veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures

+ Animal handling and restraint

+ Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining exam/procedure areas

+ Feeding, walking, and caring for hospitalized patients

Requirements:

+ At least 2 years experience in animal care preferred.

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills

+ Available to work some Saturdays

+ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

+ Compassion for animals and their owners

**Schedule:** Full-time 4-10s, including some weekends.

**Pay:** $19.00-$21.00 DOE
