    Overview

     

    Savannah River Mission Completion is seeking a **Principal Engineer** to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site.

     

    The **Principal Engineer** implements solutions to engineering challenges to meet standards set by the Department of Energy (DOE) for the Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) project.

    Responsibilities

    + Subject matter expert knowledge in multiple areas or in a highly specialized, critical area (recognized internally and externally). Demonstrates superior technical leadership.

    + Extensive experience and demonstrated ability to apply, lead and/or develop unconventional principles, theories, concepts, and/or technologies.

    + Integrates and implements new programs and/or operational best practices.

    Qualifications

    + BS Degree in Chemical Engineering or select science disciplines with extensive professional engineering experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Demonstrated ability to develop, champion, lead and execute highly complex scopes of work.

    + Expert communication, facilitation and collaboration skills necessary to present, explain, influence and advise senior management and key stakeholders.

    + Has previous experience in the SRMC Flowsheet Development group

    Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC), a prime contractor for the US Department of Energy, is responsible for managing the Department of Energy’s Savannah River Site’s Liquid Waste operations contract. Located in Aiken, South Carolina, SRMC is a limited liability company formed by nuclear operations and environmental remediation global leaders BWXT, Amentum, and Fluor.     Minimum Pay

     

    USD $110,000.00/Yr.

     

    Maximum Pay

     

    USD $199,000.00/Yr.
