Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. seeks a Material Handler II in Carlsbad for a key role in supply chain processes.

Responsibilities

+ Receive intercompany transfers with precision, ensuring accurate SKU, lot, and quantity.

+ Complete putaways in four different temperature zones, verifying SKU, lot, quantity, and zone.

+ Perform moves within our facility, maintaining strict adherence to our outstanding standards.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure world-class operational efficiency.

+ Obtain PIT certification, Forklifts and Man-up

+ Accurately handle inbound purchase orders in accordance to the SOP, ensuring proper documentation such as Certificates of Analysis and correct expiration dates.

+ Process intercompany receipts and create shipment paperwork using WMS.

+ Perform basic inventory functions, including receipts, put-aways in four different temperature zones, verifying SKU, lot, quantity, and zone., returns to stock (RTS), and inventory management.

Requirements

+ Proven experience in material handling or a related field.

+ Ability to work in varying temperature environments.

+ Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.

+ Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues

+ Comprehend and meet same-day delivery requirements as needed by the business

+ Follow Distribution Work Instructions (WINs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) consistently.

+ Use the First Report system to document hazardous identifications (haz ids) and any safety-related incidents or concerns.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $15.85–$23.77.
