    Experience owning outcomes and decision making, solving ambiguous problems and influencing stakeholders; deep expertise in domain.

    Minimum qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

    + 8 years of experience in data analysis including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.

    + Experience in data extraction, manipulation, and analysis using SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python).

    + Experience with data analysis, statistical analysis and data science.

    + Experience with web technologies, search engine ecosystems, and common web abuse tactics.

    Preferred qualifications:

    + Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering), or equivalent practical experience.

    + 12 years of experience in roles focused on abuse detection, anti-spam, search quality, or adversarial data analysis.

    + Experience in or understanding of the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) industry and webmaster practices.

    + Experience in designing and developing novel machine learning models and data pipelines for large-scale abuse fighting.

    + Ability to define and manage multi-quarter strategic roadmaps for analytical projects or anti-abuse efforts.

    + Ability to contribute to the areas related to data science, machine learning, or abuse fighting.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.     Responsibilities

    + Lead, manage, and develop a team of approximately 15 Engineering Analysts, defining and leading the strategic direction for analyzing, detecting, and combating emerging and sophisticated spam threats for Search.

    + Pioneer the use of advanced technologies (e.g., custom ML models, Large Language Models (LLMs), graph analysis) for spam detection, measurement, and enforcement.

    + Develop and advocate innovative analytical methodologies and frameworks to understand and measure the spam ecosystem. Lead the analytical components of large-scale, complex anti-spam projects, often spanning multiple teams and systems.

    + Serve as a technical expert on spam analysis, data exploitation, and anti-abuse techniques within Search.

    + Maintain deep expertise in the external SEO, tools, and tactics.
