Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
+ 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
+ Experience in Back-end Software Engineering, Design, Software Development.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
+ Experience programming in Go.
+ Experience in one or more of the following: Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Systems, Security, Compliance, Contributing to Open Source Software or Technologies
+ 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Kubernetes (k8s) is a portable, extensible open-source platform for managing containerized workloads and services, that facilitates both declarative configuration and automation.
GKE Compliance team is responsible for innovating and elevating GKE to the highest level of compliance that the era of AI needs and largest $xxB business agreements require. If you desire to solve the toughest challenge balancing the need to accelerate developer productivity, while meeting stringent customer and regulatory needs for compliance controls, this is the team to join.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
+ Design, code, test and operate Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) cloud services.
+ Collaborate regularly with other internal and external teams.
+ Work primarily in Go, but also in the myriad of other languages scattered amongst GKE.
+ Develop a full knowledge of the GKE ecosystem.
+ Help the culture of the team continue to be a high executing and fun to work in.
