Testing areas include serology, bacteriology, mycology/parasitology, mycobacteriology and next generation sequencing. In addition, newborn screening testing is performed to detect metabolic abnormalities in infants. The laboratory is focused on disease detection, surveillance, and prevention for the State of Montana.
