The Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining procedures to ensure quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) of products, assets, materials, and supplies. This role requires a hands-on understanding of tool and product functionality as well as production processes.
Roles and Responsibilities
+ Advise on quality matters during contract reviews by providing comments, input, concerns, and exceptions to customer specifications and/or requirements.
+ Allocate Quality Plans, System Plans, and Special Processes as needed to meet customer and contract requirements.
+ Develop and implement standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation through quality plans, inspection test plans, special procedures, and work instructions.
+ Facilitate project kick-off meetings and PPMs with customers, third-party inspectors, certifying bodies, and vendors to communicate project-specific requirements.
+ Consult Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
+ with customer quality representatives and/or third-party inspectors on project quality issues and records such as NCRs and FPRs.
+ Ensure certifications comply with BoM and contract requirements; assist with MRB-related issues for final review and approval.
+ Lead and/or participate in project quality audits.
+ Prepare and process monthly project quality reports.
+ Maintain working knowledge of ISO 9001 and other applicable industry standards.
+ Write routine reports and correspondence related to quality assurance functions.
+ Generate and issue CPARs for quality issues affecting projects; perform investigations and follow-up to ensure effective closure.
+ Develop KPIs and perform trend analysis to improve processes and procedures.
+ Provide daily technical support by resolving NCRs and shop floor issues, focusing on root cause identification and corrective actions.
+ Facilitate cross-functional root cause investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions.
+ Develop sampling procedures, forms, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
+ Perform all tasks safely to prevent damage to equipment or personnel.
+ Follow all HSE and quality processes.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Qualifications :
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Project Quality or Quality Management Systems
+ Proficiency in:
+ Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
+ PDF Editor (Adobe, Foxit, or other equivalent)
+ Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
