• Functional Quality Engineer

    CTG is seeking to fill a Functional Quality Engineer for our client in Dallas, TX.

     

    **Duration:** 12 months

    Overview:

    Seeking a Functional Quality Engineer to design, execute, and manage testing for applications built on custom technologies. This role covers functional, integration, and end-to-end testing, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and defect resolution.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop and execute functional and automated test cases.

    + Conduct system integration and end-to-end testing.

    + Create test plans, scenarios, and estimates; manage test data and environments.

    + Log, triage, and help resolve defects.

    + Leverage testing tools, BDD/TDD methodologies, and test accelerators.

    + Analyze results to drive continuous quality improvements.

    Qualifications:

    + Strong functional, integration, and automated testing experience.

    + Proficient with testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies (BDD/TDD).

    + Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
