About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 10 to 14 years of experience in Springboot Microservices and Java. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these technologies and a good understanding of order management within the retail domain. This hybrid offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that drive our company's success.

In this role, you will:

- Lead the design and development of scalable Springboot Microservices applications to enhance system performance and reliability.

- Oversee the integration of Java-based solutions to ensure seamless functionality across platforms.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new features and improvements.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Ensure code quality and maintainability by conducting regular code reviews and implementing best practices.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all technical processes and systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

- Implement security measures to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.

- Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions.

- Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.

- Contribute to the company's purpose by developing solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

**Work model:** Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in **Dallas,TX.** Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between **$90.000 - $102.500** depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
