Summary Support the Military's Quality of Life programs! The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department of Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) provides fitness, recreation, lodging and food and beverage programs for service members, their families, retired military and civilian employees. This position is located at the Cliffside RV Park aboard NAS Whidbey Island. Responsibilities Responsibilities may include greeting customers, and referring telephone calls, provide information regarding the facility and programs. Incumbent assists with planning, coordinating, and execution of classes, and special events. Assists customers with reservations, cancellations or reservation adjustments. Assists guests in the Check-In and departure process, provides site direction and answers questions. Distribute information. Responsible for collection and safeguarding of any funds that may be collected as a result of a fee or change. Assist in day-to-day cleaning of equipment and facility and other related duties as assigned. The incumbent may provide oversight to activities and necessary services to authorized patrons, including general information on the use of equipment. Duties to include equipment and field maintenance. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Incumbent must have one-year practical work experience including direct customer service or experience with data entry, word processing, internet, e-mail, and at least one-year experience handling cash and utilizing point of sale system. Ability to perform basic mathematical computations and communicate effectively and courtesy, using proper English both verbally and in writing. Must be able to follow verbal and written directions, and present a neat and clean appearance. Education High school diploma or equivanlent required. Additional Information Review of applicants every two weeks beginning Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Salary is dependent on experience and/or education. Some positions have special requirements.
