    **About the Opportunity:** We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our warehouse operations, inventory planning and controls, facility management, and domestic and international logistics (inbound and outbound). This role also carries responsibility for trade compliance and initiatives —including proper HTS coding and custom declaration, introduction and maintenance of Duty Drawback and First Sale for Export, ensuring alignment with customs regulations and optimal cost and inventory management. This person will balance strategic oversight with tactical execution, and collaborate closely with our international colleagues such as Japan to harmonize supply chain initiatives across borders.

    **Location:** This is an onsite position that will report to the Wood Dale facility 5 days per week.

    What you will be doing:

    + Direct and enhance warehouse and distribution center operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and throughput.

    + Lead end-to-end inventory management, including:

    + Demand analysis and inventory planning of Products and Service Parts.

    + Purchasing and replenishment strategies

    + Determination of optimal stock levels to meet service expectations while managing costs

    + Ensure accurate storage of inventory to support FIFO strategies.

    + Manage logistics functions for domestic and international shipments, optimizing freight cost, delivery performance, and vendor reliability, including active participation into new business development from logistics perspective.

    + Maintain facilities of warehouse and office in compliance with company safety standards and local regulations.

    + Implement and monitor import control activities and ensure regulatory compliance through:

    + HTS classification accuracy and validation

    + Customs documentation and audit readiness

    + Duty drawback claims

    + First sale for Export valuation practices

    + Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as Product, Customer Service, Technical Services, Sales, Marketing, Corporate Planning, Finance, Legal and Compliance teams, and international colleagues such as Japan.

    + Leverage data analytics and ERP systems to drive operational improvements and transparency

    + Create and manage departmental budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics

    + Collaborate regularly with International counterparts to align inventory and logistics strategies, exchange updates, and foster mutual understanding.

    + Provide support and guidance to cross-functional teams on import/export compliance and supply chain improvements.

    + Track performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of responsibility.

    + Provide leadership on process improvements, supply chain innovations, and performance monitoring.

    What you need for success:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or trade compliance certification a plus).

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, global logistics, and import/export compliance.

    + Well versed in navigating HTS codes, international customs paperwork, duty drawback processes, and the First Sale system and its guidelines.

    + Proven ability to lead purchasing, inventory forecasting, and stock optimization efforts.

    + Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office 365.

     

    _The hiring range for this position is: $115,000 - 140,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
