JOB SPECIFICS
The IT Endpoint Analyst, Senior leads the Endpoint Support Team in managing incidents, requests, and problem resolution for Washington County. This position collaborates with IT divisions to address complex issues, drive timely resolution of endpoint-related tickets, and ensure a high level of service. The role is also responsible for recommending and implementing process improvements, mentoring junior staff, leading team meetings to align priorities and share knowledge, and serving as a backup to other Senior IT staff for key operational processes such as change, release, and service management.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

SELECTION TECHNIQUE: Your training and experience will be rated based on the required application material submitted and the top-scoring candidates will be forwarded to the hiring department for further consideration.
HOURS / DAYS: 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday - Friday. Work schedules (hours and days) and location are subject to change based on department needs.
ANTICIPATED HIRING RATE: $87,276.80 - $119,246.40 Annually

JOB SUMMARY
The IT Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for system design, planning, implementation monitoring and maintaining critical enterprise systems. A Senior Systems Administrator ensures availability, performance metrics, change control, manage releases, test and security controls are aligned with the enterprise standards. Serves as the technical expert in the area of system administration for complex systems. Investigates, configure, troubleshoots system issues and problems, determine feasibility of system requirements, plans systems releases and develops system specifications. Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership in order to deliver a high level of service to the customers of information technology systems.
EMPLOYMENT CRITERIA
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible system administration and/or programming experience including systems analysis, planning and development and at least two (2) years of experience leading technical projects and/or teams, OR an Associate Degree in Information Technology or related field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible system administration and/or programming experience including systems analysis, planning and development and at least two (2) years of experience leading technical projects and/or teams, OR an equivalent combination of education and job related work experience that totals ten (10) years of progressively responsible system administration and/or programming experience including systems analysis, planning and development and at least two (2) years of experience leading technical projects and/or teams.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Administer and maintain hardware and software critical enterprise systems and provide high level of service to users.
+ Monitor and maintain availability, performance and security of systems software, hardware and related applications.
+ Analyze, install, configure and maintain operating, network and other systems software and utilities, servers and other hardware and related applications systems.
+ Add, remove and integrate software and hardware into existing systems internal or external.
+ Test systems and applications software and impact of software updates and patches.
+ Troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
+ Optimize systems performance.
+ Conduct, manage, track and report systems component inventory.
+ Monitor and analyze resources as required for the systems administration requirement.
+ Implement computer software and hardware licensing, warranty and vendor service agreements.
+ Apply system updates and configuration changes within defined release processes.
+ Maintain data recoverability as defined.
+ Implement data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
+ Create, monitor, modify and maintain user accounts and implements systems resource use policies.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work will involve remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time, although the incumbent will need to move about inside the office to access files or equipment from time to time and may occasionally need to travel to other sites to perform work or interact with other professionals. The ability to operate and interact with computers or other office equipment, via keyboard, mouse, touch screen, or other Human Interface Device (HID) is required. The incumbent will be exposed to noise and a regular flow of people around an office environment, assigned to changing priorities and occasionally required to work outside of typical business hours to meet project deadlines, or be available on an on-call basis for special projects or to provide support. The incumbent may occasionally need to move or transport moderately heavy objects, such as computer equipment and peripheral, unbox, install, inspect, troubleshoot and repair computer equipment, position themselves to inspect and maintain computer equipment under desks, beneath raised flooring, above suspended ceiling, in data closets, cabling channels/trees, or equipment racks.
