Purpose:
Provide clerical and receptionist support services to the program or department.
Responsibilities:
+ File correspondence, service documents and other allied material in preparation for File Room use.
+ Run errands as required (e.g., hand delivers material).
+ Maintain car tracking sheets or other internal transportation accountabilities for program.
+ Attend staff meetings as requested.
+ Prepare, photocopy, and distribute materials/documentation.
+ Provide receptionist functions, greets visitors to Department and directs visitors to appointments.
+ Accurately sort received mail and prepares mail for pick up.
+ Answer phone, take accurate and detailed messages, and coordinate communications.
+ Work well independently.
+ Data entry and management of data base.
High school diploma with concentration in business curriculum.1 year receptionist or secretarial experience or graduate of an accredited business school.Good command of spoken and written English language.Good knowledge of general office procedure.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.Strong computer skills/ literacy.
