    Salary: $2052 / Week

     

    Amergis Staffing is currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) assignments in Newport News, VA!

    Position Details:

    Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ ability to extend)

     

    Number of Openings: 5

     

    Start Date: 10/20

     

    Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 (3x12's) /Days or Nights / Every other weekend

    Setting:

    + Critical illness recovery hospital

    Position Requirements:

    + Minimum 2 years of recent RN LTAC, PCU/Critical Care, and/or Stepdown experience

    + Vent experience

    + VA RN or Compact RN license

    + BLS and ACLS (AHA)

     

    The Long-Term Acute Care Registered Nurse provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care to medically complex patients in long-term acute settings.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current RN license for the state in which the nurse practices in

    + One (1) year nursing experience in a long-term acute care facility preferred

    + Experience in acute rehabilitation for vents, wound care, cardiac, and stable post trauma patients

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
