The Center for Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence (CDHAI) at Johns Hopkins University (JHU) invites **_Research Technology Lead, CDHAI_** for an exciting grant-funded opportunity, Research Technology Lead, CHAI for technologies and AI projects which require close collaboration with federal sponsors, academic researchers, and industry partners.
The Research Technology Lead works under the general direction of a faculty researcher or senior research staff and independently conducts a variety of operational and technical activities key to the conduct of and direction of the research.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
+ Develop data collection tools based on understanding of underlying study design.
+ Participate in developing standard operating procedures for one or more studies.
+ Design and set up standard operating procedures.
+ Oversee data collection.
+ Analyze data under general oversight and make data-driven recommendations.
+ Oversee day-to-day activities and provide training for new staff on study.
+ Conduct literature searches to pull background material and identify information relevant and applicable to research interest

+ Lead technical team on website, wiki, and other project needs.
+ Participate in scientific discussions and meetings.
+ Collect, analyze, and interpret data using a variety of methods, such as computer simulations and modeling.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
+ Two years of related experience.
+ Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Master’s Degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., computer science, informatics, biology, chemistry, physics)
+ Full Stack Development experience.
+ Experience in the healthcare industry a plus but not required.
+ Experience with Programs and Programming Languages: MySQL, C/C++, SQL, R, Wolfram, Matlab, Pascal, Machine Learning.
+ Proficiency in web development and simulation software.

Starting Salary Range: $41,300- $72,300 HRLY ($57,120 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)

The listed salary range represents the minimum and maximum Johns Hopkins University offers for this position, based on a good faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, education, and internal equity. Not all candidates will qualify for the highest salary in the range.
