As a Manufacturing Support Specialist I here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and guidance to our manufacturing teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
In this role, you will impact the success of our manufacturing operations by providing essential support and guidance, ensuring the timely resolution of issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes. Your efforts will help Honeywell maintain its reputation for delivering high-quality products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the Planning team and the Sr. Supervisor of Planning. These duties will include but not be limited to: printing and folding drawings, printing cover sheets, assembling work order packages, and ensuring orders are released on the color of the week.
• Staff the front desk, answer phones, greet/sign-in visitors, provide PPE, etc to visitors.
• Provide materials management and purchasing support. This could include cycle counts, assisting in placing requisitions researching requests for shipping promise dates, etc.
• Schedule and prepare conference rooms for all day visitor meetings. This will include ordering and setting up snacks, lunches, and supplies.
• Order/stock office supplies, coffee, etc.
• Additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
• 1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Some college coursework is preferred with a degree being desirable. Equivalent experience in a related field will be considered.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in using software tools such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or administrative support role is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work in an office environment which will involve periods of sitting at a computer.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery.
